Thanks For Making Our Annual Crab Feed A Huge Success!
Our annual Crab Feed, held at the South Bay Yacht Club in Alviso, CA on Saturday, February 19th, attracted a near-capacity crowd and raised much-needed funds for the David Hoxie Education Fund, which helps children from Alviso to continue their educaion.

Alviso Rotary hosted an all-you-can-eat Spagetti Dinner on Saturday, January 15th at Vahl’s Restaurant in Alviso, CA. There was great food, raffle prizes, and a great time was had by all while supporting our club’s work in Alviso.

ROTARY CLUB OF ALVISO was organized on January 1989 as a probationary Rotary Club and Chartered on May 21, 1990, MEL GUERRERA as Charter President and twenty-one (21) charter members. The club was named after the community of Alviso, the oldest community in the northern part of San Jose, California. It was mandated by the Rotary constitution and by-laws. Rotary’s Four Avenues of Service, such as; Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service and other Humanitarian projects; “SERVICE ABOVE SELF”.
The Rotary club of Alviso is serving the community of Alviso and also doing International Service projects, the integrated Literacy and community projects in the Philippines, through and in coordination with his Sister Club the ROTARY CLUB OF METRO DADIANGAS, General Santos City, Mindanao, Philippines, Rotary International District 3860. And plan to extend Humanitarian projects in Cebu, Visayas, Philippines in the future.
The Rotary Club of Alviso has been serving the community of Alviso San Jose, in the Bay Area and Internationally for more than nineteen (19) years, a member of the Fifty-eight (58) Rotary Clubs of Rotary International, District 5170 area 5. Northern California.
Members of the Rotary Club of Alviso are one of the major contributors/donors to The Rotary Foundation for the Humanitarian Programs of the ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.
